The life of a musician involves many responsibilities: manager, administrator, designer, promoter and so on. For our music to be heard, it also has to be presented in a variety of media, and that means giving it a visual identity.

This workshop is therefore aimed at musicians who are looking to create graphic consistency in the presentation of their musical project on their own. The aim of this workshop is to help you establish a roadmap for the creation of your designs, to introduce you to free and practical tools, and to develop strategies for maintaining consistency and faithful representation of your musical project.

Using examples I've created for my own projects or for other music practitioners, we'll set up a step-by-step approach so you can apply it to your needs. How do you achieve a design that represents you, your project and your values? How do you simplify things while remaining effective when there are so many possibilities?

During the first part of the workshop, we'll all work together to create a coherent visual design for the release of an imaginary artist's EP. Then, building on this collective experience, each participant will reflect on these questions and begin to create their own graphic identity.
