New Year's Greeting

Dear community, dear friends and supporters of Music Pool Berlin,

the facts: in 2024, we celebrated our 10th anniversary with 350 guests, we shared our knowledge and experience with and supported around 3,050 participants. Including our workshops, one-on-one consultations and coaching (1200 people), with an additional 21 artists exclusively for our Musicboard cooperation, which successfully began this year outside of our own offerings, and about 1500 participants have attended our 12 free community and artist meet-up events that facilitate networking and give artists recognition within this presentation platform. This year, artists have found their way to the KSK, planned their album releases, applied for funding, planned their tours or found employees or new contacts at our artist meet-ups, and much more. We consider networking and community to be the backbone of our work and a key element for artists to find ways to make a career in the music industry sustainable, rather than pursuing it as a hobby. Of course, this is balanced with a healthy dose of reality through knowledgeable advice and the work of our eight-person team, peers and, of course, the 120 other music professionals who have shared their knowledge with us this year.

We couldn't be happier that so many musicians find their way to us every week, but we also see that the need for support increases with every new blow to the financial, social and political world around us. In this context, we would like to express our support to all our colleagues from the various cultural projects, organizations and events who cannot continue their work as planned, lose valuable collaborators or find themselves in a precarious situation. WE are in solidarity and see YOU all! We hope that BERLIN does not lose such a treasure trove of people, places and organizations! In the spirit of solidarity and hope, we wish for more collaboration in the coming year and are open to discussions on how we can ALL get through this crisis together! We would like to wish all the consultants, trainers, workshop leaders and panelists who have shared their experiences with us this year a big thank you and a wonderful new year! And of course, an EXTRA Thanks goes to our financial supporters who make all this possible: Musicboard Berlin + EU funding ESF+EFRE
