Cookies that are stored in your web browser:
- Transient cookies: These cookies are automatically deleted when you close your web browser. These include session cookies in particular. These store a so-called session ID, which can be used to assign various requests from your web browser to the shared session. This makes it possible to recognise your end device when you return to our website. Session cookies are deleted as soon as you log out or close the web browser.
- Persistent cookies: These cookies are automatically deleted after a specified period, which may vary depending on the cookie. You can delete these cookies at any time in your web browser settings. The processing of personal data by the aforementioned cookies serves to make our website more user-friendly and effective for you. Some functions of our website cannot be offered without the use of these cookies. In particular, some functions of our website require that your web browser can still be identified even after a page change. The data processed by cookies that are required to provide the functions of our website are not used to create user profiles. Where cookies are used for analysis purposes, they are used to improve the quality and user-friendliness of our website, its content and functions. Our legitimate interest in data processing lies in the aforementioned purposes.
The above cookies are stored on your end device and transmitted from it to our server. You can therefore configure the processing of data and information by cookies yourself. You can make appropriate configurations in the settings of your web browser, through which you can, for example, reject third-party cookies or cookies altogether. Matomo (formerly Piwik)
This website uses the open source software ‘Matomo’ (formerly Piwik) to analyse visits. Matomo is used for website optimisation and evaluates website visits anonymously using cookies.
The information collected by Matomo is not used for personal evaluation or profiling, is stored on a server of our web host within the EU, is not passed on to third parties and is not merged with other data.
Matomo collects the following information:
- Date and time of page views including possible downloads
- Time spent on the page
- Previously visited page
- Information about the end device & resolution
- Information about the operating system of the end device
- Information about the browser used
- Information about the location (geolocation) that can be derived from various information and the IP
- Anonymised IPs
- The IP address of visitors is anonymised before it is saved, for which we use a 2-byte mask (e.g. 192.168.xxx.xxx).
We respect the privacy of our visitors and accept it if you do not accept our cookies via the privacy settings of your browser or browser extensions. We make no attempt to interfere with your browser and/or extensions and deliver the website as functional as possible.
Use of social media buttons with data protection (Shariff) for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram
Normally, social media plugins mean that every visitor to a page is immediately recorded by these services with their IP address and their further activities on the Internet are logged. This happens even if the user does not click on one of the buttons.
To prevent this, we use Shariff software to share or recommend content on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. The Shariff buttons only establish a connection to the social network server after activation by the user.
When activated by the user, a connection to the Facebook, Twitter or Instragram servers is established and user data is transmitted to the external servers.
If the visitor is already logged in to a social network, the connection to Facebook is established without opening another window. On Twitter, a pop-up window appears in which the text of the tweet can still be edited.
Further information on zur Initiative von heise.de für eine 2-Klick-Methode namens "Shariff"
We have no influence on the scope and use of the data and, to the best of our knowledge, expressly draw attention to the fact that the aforementioned services Facebook, Twitter and Google+ set so-called third-party cookies when activated, use user data and IPs in accordance with their respective privacy policies and also use them for business purposes. If readers are logged into one of the aforementioned social media platforms at the same time, these service providers can also assign website visits to user accounts, i.e. persons.
Collection of personal data
Collection of data in the context of projects funded by the European Social Fund (ESF).
Every participant in orientation counselling, specialist counselling, workshops or coaching provided by Music Pool Berlin must complete a questionnaire that collects a range of personal data. The Music Pool Berlin project is partially funded by the European Social Fund (ESF+). A prerequisite and condition of ESF funding is the collection of participant data. In order to avoid confusion and uncertainty, you will find some information below on why this data is collected and what happens to it. A detailed explanation can be found on the participants' declaration of consent, which we will also present to you to sign on site.
The ESF is the European Union (EU) funding instrument that is used directly and exclusively to support individuals. It is not companies, construction projects or the like that are supported, but individuals in measures. This is precisely why the Operational Programme (OP), the basis for funding approved by the European Commission, has agreed participant numbers as planned and target figures. Against this background, the participants must be known for the management and administration of ESF-funded funding programmes.
This has three objectives:
1. to check whether the programme is being implemented as originally planned
2. to enable evaluation of the effectiveness of measures
3. to enable controls
The following data must therefore be collected: surname and first name, address, gender, nationality, date of birth, migration background, presence of disability, level of education, employment status, date of entry and exit, in the case of unemployment the start date, and number of participant hours completed. The data and documents must be stored for at least 10 years in accordance with European Union regulations. Auditors from the European Union, including the European Court of Auditors, the State Court of Auditors, the specialised administration of the State of Berlin funding the measure and the ESF administrative, certification and auditing authority have the right to inspect the documents. The collection of data from participants in ESF-funded measures therefore ultimately serves the purpose of being able to manage the funding as effectively and usefully as possible for the individual and to have control options that are intended to prevent incorrect use or even misuse.
The standardised procedure used in Berlin ensures that the personal data of the participants is only known to the project organiser all2gethernow e.V. (a2n), which carries out the measure. Only a2n knows your name, address, etc., and only a2n has this information. When a2n sends the required reports on the progress of the project to the administration, the data is coded (pseudonymised) in the IT system with a sequence of digits at the time it is sent. The administration therefore only receives summarised, statistical data. So not ‘Mr A’ and ‘Ms B’, but ‘C persons’, of which ‘D men’, ‘E women’, ‘F persons with disabilities’, ‘G young people’, ‘H persons with a migration background’, etc. No administration, no intermediary body, not the administrative authority, and not the European Commission will receive your personal data. Only when on-site checks of a project take place (the third objective mentioned above) must it be possible to relate the coding / pseudonymisation back to specific persons in order to be able to check the correctness of expenditure and also because questions to participants about the content, implementation and benefits of a measure can be part of an on-site check.
A detailed description of the collection of personal data by the European Social Fund can be found in the Information for Participants (German). These will also be handed out to participants at ESF-funded events organised by all2gethernow e.V. / Music Pool Berlin.
