Club Nouveau’s version of Bill Withers’ song “Lean on Me” won a Grammy award for Best R&B Song in 1987 but the band did not get a dime. Timex Social Club’s hit “Rumors” which is also still being played in clubs around the world today, suffered the same faith and payment to those artist behind the music will not go to them because they did not protect their legacy.

Let”s learn how to protect our rights and make sure the profits come into our bank accounts and not the industries.
